The Care for Rare Foundation, a foundation for children with rare diseases, and the Alström Initiative, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation.
Together, we would like to further increase awareness of rare diseases, intensify the search for scientists or researchers for Alström syndrome, promote the expansion of international networks and further develop the concept of a 'Center of Excellence'.
It is an exciting and great step for both organisations into a new form of cooperation, in the hope that by joining forces they can take another step for the 'orphans of medicine' – those affected by rare diseases.
This cooperation is a real encouragement!
